The first test that I did for this animation was just the ball bouncing up the stairs. The video of this is below:
The test was ok, but the animation was not what I had hope it would be. I wanted to have the ball act more like a character then a bouncing ball and this did not show in this test.
The second test that I tried was putting a tail on the ball and bouncing it a few times. This is shown below:
This test did not work out as well as I had hoped, but I found animating the tail and the ball at the same time difficult.
